The White Diet

We want to help you maintain your whitening results for as long as possible. Please follow the following guidelines to keep your pearly whites sparkling!

 

The KEY is to avoid any foods that will stain your teeth 24 hours following whitening treatment (because “pores” in your teeth are still open and any stains in food will sink into these pores). A good thing to remember is if the food has color it is best to avoid it for the first 24 hours.

For the first 24 hours avoid:

Dark drinks such as tea, coffee, red wine, colored soft drinks, fruit juice, and green juice
Dark food and sauces such as soy sauce, tomato sauce, and all fruits (except bananas)
Smoking

Feel free to enjoy in the first 24 hours:

White or clear drinks such as water, coconut water, milk, sparkling water, Sprite, white wine, and white lemonade
White fish, chicken, potatoes, pasta with white sauce, rice, yogurt, bananas, and egg whites

The rule is, if it is WHITE or CLEAR feel free to enjoy! Avoid any food or drinks that would leave a stain on a white Tshirt! Follow these guidelines for 24 hours for the best and longest lasting whitening results.
